Rubber for Elasticsearch is a standalone GUI tool that enables users to connect to and manage their own Elasticsearch databases. We do not host, access, or store any of your database content, credentials, or query data. All information you view or manipulate within the App remains on your local machine or in your own infrastructure.

Use with OpenSearch

The App may also be used to connect to and manage OpenSearch clusters. Similar to Elasticsearch, we do not host, access, or store any data processed through your OpenSearch environments. All interactions with OpenSearch remain entirely within your control and infrastructure.

Elasticsearch and OpenSearch are independent third-party technologies. Our App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the owners of either technology.

No Cloud Syncing or External Transmission

The App does not transmit your documents, indices, queries, cluster metadata, credentials, or any other database-related information to our servers or to any external service. All database interactions occur directly between your device and your chosen Elasticsearch or OpenSearch environment.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

We may collect limited Personal Data when you:

Contact us for support or feedback (e.g., your email address and name).
Voluntarily provide information through our website contact forms.

We do not collect:

Your database contents, queries, or connection details.
Any user-generated or stored data from your connected databases (Elasticsearch or OpenSearch).

Anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data (if you choose to share them via Apple or within the app).

Crash and diagnostic data may be processed by Apple or by approved third-party analytics providers. These reports do not contain database content, usernames, passwords, or connection details.

This information cannot identify individual users and does not include database content or credentials.

If you visit our website, we may collect standard web log information (e.g., IP address, browser type, referring pages, and time of access). We may use cookies solely for functional or analytics purposes.
